Perhaps the most famous ghost in Southern California is Kate Morgan, an 1892-era “woman in black” who is said to haunt the Hotel del Coronado and nearby Coronado Beach. From what I gather, her beach sightings tend to occur at odd night hours and are very eerie. The original photo appears in Craig Owens’ coffee table book, “Haunted by History Vol. 1.” This is a tinted alternative version. Copyright: Craig Owens / Sad Hill LLC.
