Percent of Teens Producing Digital Content is Up
David Warlick gives a super run-down on the results of a recent study from the PEW Internet and American Life Project that indicates the participation of teens posting content to the web is notably up.
Content creation by teenagers continues to grow, with 64% of online teenagers ages 12 to 17 engaging in at least one type of content creation, up from 57% of online teens in 2004.
The study seems to indicate that girls are more prolific to post content than boys, but boys are more likely to produce video content than girls.
